The Markant model utilises synergies and reduces interfaces between suppliers and retailers. One example of this is the centralised processing of payment transactions: All invoices and receipts are processed automatically via Markant, eliminating countless bilateral contact points.

The efficiency gains on the part of both suppliers and retailers can be passed on to end consumers through lower prices, innovations, a wider and more attractive product range or more locations.
